Meet Kaamil

Hello my name is Kaamil and I am in 7th grade.

I joined Student It so I could learn more about technology; it makes life so much easier. I think I deserve this position because I've been around technology most of my life, and I come from a line of technology experts (I have one cousin who majors in Computer technology at Virginia Tech and another cousin who majors in chemical engineering at McGill in Montreal). I haven't been as involved as I would have liked because of Dare and intense workloads on certain days, but the meetings have been really hospitable and fun. My favorite subjects are social studies and english because Mr.Macchiano and Ms.Moy teach them (other subjects are a bit hard or overwhelming).

My favorite app is NFL mobile because it's every football fan's tool. You can track current news around the league, check every available stat or score, edit your fantasy lineup, and even watch live games and highlights. I love using Drive for homework/projects because everything is saved in one place; it makes accessing work you do in school so much easier. I have a burning passion for football (die hard New England Patriots and Oregon Ducks fan, play right tackle for the school team, buy the new Madden and NCAA every year, stalk the news, and practically grew up with the sport) and I love acting in school productions (I've played Gahiji in Murder in the House of Horrors and Mr.Salt in Willy Wonka, and I recently got casted as Borachio in Much Ado about Nothing, one of DSMS's three spring drama productions).

I also like to play Madden 25, NCAA 14, and Battlefield 4 on Xbox, and listen to music (I'm an avid Green Day, U2, Nickelback, One Ok Rock, and Bon Jovi fan). My passions when working with technology are watching highlights of NFL greats at the position I play in football to get better (Jonathan Ogden, Gary Zimmerman, John Hannah, and Gene Upshaw are my personal favorite Offensive lineman to watch) and to watch older productions I've been in to see what I could do to become a better actor and look at other people's performances to see what they did that made they're performance special.

If I could visit one place in the world it'd be Canton Ohio, because it's the birthplace of the NFL and the NFL Hall of Fame is located there. I'd get a chance to relive NFL history, get acquainted with the all time greats, and re-watch some of the NFL's most exciting moments in every football fan's heaven.

In 6 years I see myself in one of these two places: attending Oregon, Rutgers, Florida, or Michigan on a football scholarship in an attempt to play in the NFL, or a sophomore at my dream college of Yale studying law.
