Meet Amanda

Hi, my name is Amanda. I'm in 6th grade here at DSMS. 

When I applied for the position to be an IT Helper I wanted to make using technology easy, and not just for us kids. Teachers have to print, save, and have a lesson for their class up and ready, if one of those things isn't working it stinks. So when this program popped up I took my chance and decided to not do my homework during help session, but to help teachers and students use technology. So far working as an IT Helper has helped me at home when I need to change an ink cartridge, or restart my mom's computer. My family is very grateful because now they don't have to do it. At DSMS my favorite subject is math and english, I like these subjects because the teachers are really awesome. 

At home my favorite app is the photography app by apple, and a close second is the garage band app because you can personalize your favorite things (for me they are music and pictures). Using google drive really helps me because I'm really bad with flash-drives. Outside of school I enjoy being in the school musicals and plays, and playing minecraft. At home or at school I am always trying to listen to music on my Google Chromebook and iPad mini and memorize the lyrics to songs. 

If I could go anywhere in the world I would go to Russia to save orphans that are being starved to death in mental institutions. And in six years I see myself going off to college and studying music and art and some technology too. To see more stuff go to my page "About Amanda". Thanks!
